Golf is frustrating, it is demoralising, it is difficult. But for some, like actor-dancer-singer Ferlyn G, it can also be salvation. In the high-stress life of a performer, the chance to find an outlet that is far removed from their art can provide that counterbalance so important in keeping one sane. Or at least in one piece. She opens up about her love of the game, and how it has helped her find equilibrium and, yes, happiness. This is also the time of year that charity golf events are going full steam ahead. Few sports in Singapore contributes as much to the community, and the long list of charity golf tournaments in this issue is our way of saying thanks.
